Financial Empowerment Conference
CEAF's Financial Empowerment Conference is one the organization's signature events. Now approaching its 10th year in existence, the conference provides the citizens of Birmingham with expert advice regarding purchasing and
re-financing a home, lending practices, credit management, insurance, building wealth, avoiding foreclosures, protecting assets, home inspections and legal matters regarding real estate. The overall mission is to equip citizens with financial tools to succeed in life. Additionally, the conference includes a youth component with leaders in the financial arena providing students with the skills to develop and launch their first business.

Bulter Snow Grant
In 2020, CEAF received a Butler Snow Foundation Grant to purchase materials, art supplies, laptops and iPads to be used for the “Magic of the Pearl Arts Project”. The project focused on technology and arts, specifically the Harlem Renaissance and Black Arts Movement. The program brought much needed resources to students and community members of the historic Smithfield neighborhood. Wilkerson School students wrote and produced a film entitled "The Harlem Renaissance", which was featured in the Birmingham Sidewalk Film Festival.
